On June 24, the Society of Professional Journalists announced that EHRP’s “Going for Broke” podcast won a Sigma Delta Chi Award in the Podcast: Conversational category. 

“Host Ray Suarez does an expert job illuminating the instability of the 21st century American economy,” the organization said in its awards video. “The listener understands his personal connection to the material, which enriches the experience of listening to him speak with others made vulnerable by layoffs or other economic crises.”
