EHRP Fellow Zaydee Sanchez Wins American Mosaic Journalism Prize for Reporting on Migrant Communities

We are thrilled to announce that EHRP Reporting Fellow Zaydee Sanchez is the 2025 recipient of the American Mosaic Journalism Prize! Sanchez’s awarded photojournalism includes two EHRP-supported pieces, co-published with Wall Street Journal and Mother Jones, on migrant communities organizing to recover from worker health crises and climate catastrophe.

This $100,000 prize is awarded for excellence in reporting about underrepresented groups in the U.S. EHRP is proud to have supported Sanchez’s work as part of our ongoing mission to support freelance journalists, expand the reach of their work and amplify their stories so they can have an even greater impact.
