Cinthya Santos Briones, is a Mexican interdisciplinary artist, anthropologist, ethnohistorian and community organizer based in New York. Her multimedia work uses a collaborative approach to tell stories about homeland, immigration, memory, identity and self-representation through an interdisciplinary process that uses photography, ethnography, history, drawings, and audiovisual and written narratives.

Co-published with The Nation. The traditional systems of mutual support that undergird many Indigenous Central American cultures have formed a safety net during a very dark time in New York City’s history.
