Jacob Templin was formerly an executive producer at Quartz and a senior producer at Time. His work has been published in the New York Times, Retro Report and PBS. Templin has a degree in film production from York University in Toronto and a Master's in journalism from Columbia University. He teaches a class called Multiplatform Storytelling at the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs.
